Since this is a money pinching blog, I have reached the conclusion that skin problems can be a money pit especially if one suffers from blackheads on the nose. Blackheads do not have to keep you up at night any longer, for the following naturally remedies can get rid of them.
There’s nothing more disheartening than waking up to a zit on your face, much worse at the center of your nose! It’s like having a tenant take up room without paying rent.
Unfortunately, this is a reality for many women because beautiful skin is hard to come by. That’s why cosmetic companies make so much money selling toners, creams and face wash potions. Everyone wants to have a clean, clear and blemish-free skin.
Luckily, you don’t have to break the bank to get rid of the blackheads on your face.
Here are some of the most effective home remedies for getting rid of blackheads:
Cleansing tapes are by far the easiest and most convenient way to remove nose blackheads. All you have to do is place the tape on top of your nose, leave it to suck up all the dirt and then rip it off. Of course, the package comes with instructions too, and you should definitely follow them to the tee.
Alternatively if you’re a DIY-er, then you can even make your own cleansing tape at home.
You’ll just need:
A cotton pad
One tablespoon of organic and raw honey
One tablespoon of milk
Combine the milk and honey together in a microwave-friendly container, warm it up for 10 seconds and stir the mixture until it cools down. Apply the mixture onto the blackheads, making sure to cover the whole affected area. Place the cotton pad on top; let it rest for 20 minutes before you gently peel it off. Rinse the spot with some cold water and make sure your hands are clean.
Black Facial Mask
The black facial mask is a very popular method for removing blackheads. That’s because it’s very effective and quite convenient too! All you have to do is buy the ready-made facial mask, apply it onto the affected area by following the instructions, and cleanse your face afterward.
Honey is a well-known health remedy and it should be a staple in your pantry at this point. To help with blackheads, just apply a smidgen of it onto the nose with a cotton swab and leave it to rest for 10 minutes. Wipe the area off with clean water and you’re done.
Soda and Water
Combine one teaspoon of fresh water with three teaspoons of baking soda. Mix well until it takes the consistency of a paste, and then massage it onto the nose for at least three minutes. Allow the paste to marinate on your nose for a few more minutes before you rinse it off with clean warm water. If you repeat this process twice a week then you should start to see a noticeable difference.
There are a lot of uses for toothpaste besides cleaning your teeth. To remove blackheads using toothpaste, simply melt two tablespoons of it in a microwave-friendly container, stir in one teaspoon of salt and combine into a paste.
Spread it onto your nose and leave it to work for five minutes. Afterwards, pat some clean water onto the nose so that you can loosen up the paste and massage it onto the nose using a circular motion. Once you’re done, get some ice cubes and rub them on your nose to help loosen up your pores.
As you can see, getting rid of blackheads is fairly easy and can be done with things that you already have at home. However, if your skin is very sensitive then you should consult with your dermatologist before you try anything new.
